Thanks for stopping by. I’m a Philadelphia-based freelance reporter. My current gigs include a weekly urban affairs column for the Philadelphia Inquirer and special projects for PlanPhilly. I’m also a writer-at-large and blogger for Philadelphia Magazine.
Before all this I was a staff writer at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where I worked 10 years covering beats ranging from Baghdad to higher education to Philadelphia’s City Hall.
I live in West Philadelphia with my wife Kaitlin and son Clark.
